Lifetime in development for 'A Day Late' movie
Lifetime is within development on the TV movie modified in the best-selling novel "Each Day Late along with a Dollar Short" from author Terry McMillan.Ostar Prods. has acquired the privileges towards the book, that is McMillan's fifth novel and was released in 2001. Tome spent 12 days around the NY Occasions bestseller list, three of these at No. 1.Steven Tolkin is placed to direct, with Shernold Edwards aboard to create the telepic. Tolkin and Bill Haber will professional produce.Other books compiled by McMillan, who frequently examines African-American lives in her own books, include "How Stella Got Her Groove Back" and "Waiting to Exhale," each of which were modified into movies. Lifetime is placed to premiere "Five" on March. 10. Cabler will offer you an anthology of 5 short films -- all searching at how cancer of the breast affects women's lives -- directed by Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, Alicia Secrets, Penelope Sphreeris and Patty Jenkins.
